The Story
Your story plays a part in the photos we create together. Your feelings, your emotions, your connection, your journey. This maternity session photoshoot was after a long awaited journey of longing and patiently waiting for their time to come. A journey of loss, resilience, patience and hope. Finally their time came, healthy growing their dream girl. A daughter. A dream come true.
Your story matters. Your story inspires your photoshoot. A lot of you could relate to this. A more of a reason to have the photos. To honour your incredible journey.
How does a maternity photoshoot with me go | My photography approach
There's something so magical about having a dreamy maternity session in the soft evening light. The warmth of the rays on your pregnant skin. The light highlighting your pregant bump. The dreamy light enhancing your emotions, feeling and story.
This maternity session at Aberavon beach, South Wales, was a particularly special and powerful one. After a long almost five year journey of waiting for this moment of being pregnant, I wanted to make this session really emotive, empowering and full of feeling. As a Swansea maternity photographer, my photography approach to maternity sessions is to make you feel empowered and for you to have photos full of emotion and connection.
Focusing on connection and emotion
Connection and emotion is what drives your photoshoot. This is what creates those photos full of feeling, the ones that give you that emotional response of what it felt like, rather than just what it looks like. As a South Wales maternity photographer, my goal is for your to fully connect with your bump through gentle direction and movement. We will then create emotive and powerful maternity photos for you to look back on as your baby grows.
Your baby's first home.
